In the article “Genetics evaluation for the etiologic diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders” which appeared in the January 2008 issue, the last sentence on page 4 appeared with the percentages transposed. The sentence should have been as follows: “The generally reported recurrence risk is 7% if the first affected child is female and 4% if first child is male.”
