ABMG Certification Examinations

The 2002 certification examinations offered by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) will be held August 14–15, 2002. Certification examinations will be offered in Clinical Genetics, Clinical Biochemical Genetics, Clinical Cytogenetics, Clinical Molecular Genetics, and PhD Medical Genetics. Subspecialty Certification in Molecular Genetic Pathology

The first joint subspecialty examination in Molecular Genetic Pathology (MGP), in conjunction with the American Board of Pathology, will be offered November 28, 2001, at their computer examination center in Tampa, FL. Director of Molecular Genetics Laboratory

The Genetics Center in southern California (Disneyland area), USA, has an immediate opening for a Director of Molecular Genetics Laboratory. Candidates should have a doctorate degree, have or be eligible for the California Genetics Laboratory Director License, and have significant DNA-based testing experience. The Genetics Center is a comprehensive center with molecular genetic and cytogenetic laboratories, plus genetic counseling and extensive genetic clinics. The Genetics Center is celebrating our fifteenth anniversary and has recently moved into our new building with facilities custom-built for us.
