Webcast: How to write a great CV for academia and industry

This webcast, from Nature’s webinar programme, is now available to view on demand. Over two sessions, Sarah Blackford, an academic careers adviser at BioScience Careers, runs through some top techniques for developing a CV and targeting specific job applications, before assessing and giving feedback on some example CVs.

“You have to use these keywords that will be relevant for the role you’re looking for,” Blackford says.

Part 1

You can see the first webcast session, on the strategic approach to applying for specific positions, here.

Part 2

The second session looks at some example CVs and includes a question and answer session involving the audience at the virtual event. It can be found here.

Both of these sessions were held online in October 2020, as part of Nature’s annual Careers Live conference.
