Abstract

WE recently suggested1, and found experimental support for1,2, a totally new concept for the design of inclusion compounds. Using this design concept we prepared a series of host compounds based on a hexa-substituted benzene ring (I), and we now report the results of the first X-ray structural study on one of these compounds.
