Isolation and characterisation of the φX174 ribosome binding sites

Abstract

Sequence information for four RNA ribosome binding sites has been obtained from φX174 φRNA synthesised in vitro. The ribosome binding sites have been assigned to sites on the φX174 genome by comparison with known DNA sequence data.
