Abstract
The 360-MHz NMR spectrum of E. coli tRNAVal1 reveals 26 resonances, six of which are derived from tertiary base pairs. The origin of these tertiary resonances and their approximate positions in the spectrum are discussed in relation to the crystal structure of tRNA.
