Multiple forms of SS → DS RNA polymerase activity in reovirus-infected cells

THE genome of reovirus consists of a unique set of ten segments of double-stranded (DS) RNA1–3. This DS RNA is replicated in infected cells on a preformed single-stranded (SS) RNA template which has the same polarity as messenger RNA4–7.
