Distribution and Immunology of Mammalian Nerve Growth Factor

Abstract

WE report here a series of experiments in which we have measured the amount of nerve growth factor (NGF) present in the serum of a number of species. We have also compared the immunological properties of the serum NGF with purified NGF from mouse salivary gland and from a snake venom.
