General Theory of Chromosome Structure and Gene Activation in Eukaryotes

Abstract

This simple theory provides a function for non-histone proteins and an explanation for the large size of eukaryotic genomes, repetitive sequences in DNA, HnRNA and “processing” of nuclear RNA.
