Abstract
FOSSIL fruits of Dulichium arundinaceum (L.) Britt. have been found in the interglacial deposits exposed in the Quinton motorway cutting near Birmingham1. These deposits can now be allocated to the Hoxnian, or penultimate, interglacial.
