Is there a Unique Conformation of Cholinergic Ligands responsible for Muscarinic Activity ?

Abstract

CHOTHIA1 has proposed a structure activity relationship for the muscarinic response of acetylcholine. In deriving the model responsible for optimum activity, reports on the pharmacological testing of a number of conformationally constrained acetylcholine analogues were neglected.
