Abstract
STUDIES of human chromosomes1–7 have demonstrated that ageing increases hypodiploidy. Sex differences were said to account for different rates of increase in hypodiploidy as well as the preferential loss of an X chromosome in females and a Y chromosome in males2,4–6.
