Infrared Radiation from Dust in Seyfert Galaxies

Abstract

The observed infrared radiation from Seyfert galaxies in the waveband 2.2–22 µm may be emitted by dust grains which absorb energy from an intense optical or ultraviolet source at the galactic nucleus.
