Observation of Prolonged Radio Emission from a Red Dwarf Star

Abstract

A remarkable outburst from a red dwarf flare star (YZ Canis Minoris) has been observed by radio and optical telescopes. This article is an account of the radio observations, and is followed by articles on the optical measurements, and on the coronal structure of YZ Canis Minoris.
