Rhodopsin Cycle in the Living Eye of the Rat

Abstract

The rhodospin cycle can now be observed in the living eye by means of the early receptor potential. The entire bleaching process in the eye seems to be the same as the bleaching process extensively studied in solutions of rhodopsin.
