Suppression of the Immune Response to the Nematode Nippostrongylus brasiliensis in Adult Mice by Heterologous Anti-lymphocytic Serum

Abstract

ANTI-LYMPHOCYTIC serum (ALS) has recently been described as the most effective immunosuppressive agent, supposedly acting selectively against lymphocytes1–3. It has been assumed that immunity to parasites is also suppressed by ALS and this seems to be supported by the results of our investigations presented here.
