Fibre Groups in the Auditory Nerve of the Locust

Abstract

I HAVE shown that the tympanal nerve of the male migratory locust (Locusta migratoria) contains two dissimilar groups of fibres, which can be distinguished by their conduction velocities and by the sensitivities of the receptors from which they derive.
