Autocomplex Formation in Solutions involving Octahedral and Tetrahedral Complexes of a Metal Ion

Abstract

THE formation of tetrahedral complexes of various transition metal ions in solution has been the subject of numerous investigations. Here we shall direct attention to the special electrolytic ionization effects which may result in a solution if two different configurations of complexes are of comparable stabilities.
