Purification of Human Angiotensin

Abstract

INVESTIGATIONS of angiotensin have increased, especially since the description of the structures of bovine and horse angiotensin and the synthesis of chemically pure angiotensins1–3. Although knowledge of angiotensin has accumulated from animal and laboratory investigations, the exact role of angiotensin in the development of human hypertension is still obscure.
