Abstract
NORADRENALINE infused close arterially into the cat spleen at a rate of 0.625 µg/min, equivalent to the physiological rate of release of this transmitter when stimulating the splenic nerves at 10 impulses/sec, is mainly bound to nerve endings within the spleen1,2.
