Abstract
RECENT studies in the mouse have demonstrated two classes of 7S γ-globulins, the 7S γ1- and 7S γ2-globulins1. These two classes differ in electrophoretic mobility, antigenically, and in genetically determined isoantigens. Both classes possess antibody activity. Experiments to determine whether these two immunoglobulin classes possess skin-sensitizing activity were carried out in both heterologous (guinea-pig skin) and homologous (mouse skin) systems.
