Abstract
AN investigation is being carried out in this Laboratory of the electrical and optical properties of lamellar insulators and semiconductors. There is particular interest in the conduction and breakdown properties of these materials in high electric fields, and in the correlation of these properties with optical absorption measurements, photoconductivity and crystal lattice defects.
