Abstract

BURNETT et al.1 concluded that methanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, 2-methyl-1-propanol, 2-methyl-2-propanol, 1,2,3-propanetriol, 1,2-propanediol and 1,2-ethylenedioxydiol are about as effective as ethanol in affording protection against radiation. The results given here permit more definite conclusions to be made.
