Abstract
IT has been demonstrated that human growth hormone migrates in agar gel electrophoresis at the rate of the α-globulins1. This occurs both in pure solution and in serum. The technique of radioimmunoelectrophoresis has now been used to demonstrate the presence of binding proteins for both insulin2 and thyroxine3. In this communication the technique is applied to human growth hormone.
