Abstract
MEASLES is a very infectious disease which is considered to be transmitted by airborne infection. The morbidity of measles shows a seasonal variation1,2 the disease being more frequent in spring. The possibility that this seasonal variation could be related to variation of survival of the virus in air was examined by comparing experimental data on virus survival with morbidity data.
