Abstract
CHANGES occurring in the excretion of electrolytes by saliva in irradiation sickness have so far received little attention. In a previous report1 we concentrated on the excretion of radiosodium by saliva in irradiated rats. In the work recorded here we investigated the excretion of rubidium the metabolism of which resembles that of potassium and which consequently occurs mostly in the intracellular compartments.
