Abstract
MERINO sheep in hot environments effectively reduce the rate of excretion of water but that of sodium and potassium may not change, and often increases during periods of dehydration1. Renal hæmodynamics may be concerned in this adjustment of kidney function but endocrine activity has been examined in the search for possible mechanisms.
