Soil Temperatures in Iceland

Abstract

INFORMATION on soil temperatures in Iceland is scant except for interrupted and now discontinued observations made by the Meteorological Bureau of Iceland at two and earlier three different locations in the country1. These observations had mostly been restricted to the 1- and 2-m. depths.
