Abstract
As part of a research programme on the interaction between purine and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, the crystal structures of molecular complexes between 1,3,7,9-tetramethyluric acid and pyrene, 3,4-benzopyrene and coronene, first described by Weil-Malherbe1, are being investigated in our laboratory.
