Keto-Acids and Amines in Rumen Liquid of Cattle

AN investigation was made into the occurrence of keto-acids in rumen liquid of cattle ; simultaneously the amino-acids and the amines were examined, as electrophoresis at pH. 4.5 revealed that basic components occurred in rumen liquid. The following methods were used :
