Abstract
RESERPINE has been shown to uncouple oxidative phosphorylation of brain and liver mitochondria in vitro 1,2. In view of this, the effect of reserpine on heart mitochondria, in vivo and in vitro, and on the content of energy-rich phosphate compounds in heart muscle was studied.
