Abstract
ALTHOUGH a large body of results has been published on the changes of physical properties induced in ethylene polymers by irradiation, no description of an actual dose test has come to our notice. It happens during electron irradiation of objects that such factors as thickness may influence the dose received at any point so that it is desirable to have available a test which can be used to assess the radiation dose received by a small amount of material.
