Ore Mineral Identification Simplified


AN electric cell photometer, described by one of us1 in 1954, has been used successfully in conjunction with a micro-indentation hardness tester for the rapid identification of ore minerals in polished section. The hardness tester is a G.K.N. bench type instrument, manufactured by Hall Telephone Accessories, Ltd.
