Spectroscopic Examination of Punicic Acid

Abstract

PUNICIC acid was first isolated from pomegranate (Punica granatum) seed oil by Toyama and Tsuchiya1. This fact was later confirmed by a re-investigation of the oil by Toyama and Hozaki2 and also by other workers3.
