Abstract
IT has come to my notice that others working on lampreys have had, like myself, difficulty in keeping them alive. Since I have been successful both this year and last in keeping the river lamprey or lampern (Lampetra fluviatilis, L.) alive over long periods, the following observations may be of interest.
