Abstract
MEASUREMENTS of the absorption of the radiation responsible for the nuclear disintegrations observed in photographic emulsions have been made in the atmosphere and under lead. The star intensity I, at a depth h gm./cm.2 from the top of a medium, can be represented by where l is the range of the star-producing radiation in gm./cm.2.
