Abstract
IN his paper, "A New Method of Acceleration of Relativistic Particles", Veksler1 proposed two methods of overcoming the limitation of the cyclotron due to the relativistic increase of the mass of the particle. One of these is the synchrotron, now well known ; and the other, which has been called the microtron2 and is essentially an electron cyclotron, is the subject of the present note.
