Abstract
IN a previous communication which appeared in Nature1, Prof. Max Born and Dr. H. S. Green gave an account of a general kinetic theory of condensed matter (see also refs. 2–5). A new equation of state was derived which covers both phases, liquid and gas. Some numerical results (to be published in detail elsewhere) have now been obtained.
