Abstract
THE Rubber Technology Conference, held in London during June 23–25 under the auspices of the Institution of the Rubber Industry, provided the first opportunity since the War for scientific workers and technologists in this field from many countries to meet for a general discussion of their problems. The papers presented covered a very wide range of subjects, from purely scientific to highly technical ; this short article is an attempt to review only the more scientific aspects of the matters discussed.
