Abstract
In a recent communication1, Weibull describes an interesting experimental technique and discusses the establishment of detonation in charges of compressed T.N.T., initiated by a No. 8 compound detonator; it would seem, however, that a general conclusion is drawn from these experiments, one which is not justified by their scope.
