Effect of Stilbœstrol on the Ovaries of Hypophysectomized Rats


VARIOUS authors have reported that small doses of œstrogen injected in the intact adult rat cause an increase in ovarian weight, generally attributed to an increase in the secretion of luteinizing hormone from the pituitary1.
