Abstract
THE Waite Agricultural Research Institute was established at Glen Osmond, near Adelaide, South Australia, in 1925, as a result of the late Mr. Peter Waite's gift to the University of Adelaide for the purpose of furthering the cause of education and research in agriculture and allied subjects. The total value of the bequest was estimated at £100,000.
