The Oxford Advanced Atlas

Abstract

THE outstanding feature of the new “Oxford Advanced Atlas” is a larger page with maps. This has allowed of the introduction of double-page maps of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balkan States. With their inclusion, the atlas pow shows the whole of Western, Central, and Mediterranean Europe on the 1: 3,000,000 scale. There are also new double-page maps of the U.S.S.R., South-West Asia, the Malay Archipelago, the Laurentic Basin, Central and East Africa, and South Africa.
