Abstract
MR. G. E. D. Alcock, of Peterborough, observed this shower on the early morning of January 4. The sky cleared at January 3, 13h. 45m. (G.M.A.T.) and clouded over at 15h. 55m. The moonlight was a big hindrance, but 17 meteors were mapped. Two radiants of Quadrantids were determined: (a) 229° + 53°; diameter 1.1°; 5 meteors; (b) 229½° +49°; diameter 1.4°; 6 meteors.
