Abstract
THIS volume follows up and forms part of a useful series of publications issued during the last two years or so by the Bureau d'Etudes geologiques et Minieres coloniales on the subject of the mineral resources of the French Colonies. Its object is to give an account of some general aspects of the mining industry with which it is important that colonial miners and geologists should be familiar.
