Abstract
THE colossal task of bringing Kayser's standard “Handbuch der Spektroscopie” up to date, which has been undertaken with the assistance of Prof. Konen and other collaborators, is carried forward another stage by the appearance of this, the third and concluding part of vol. 7. The publication contains data, complete to July 10, 1933, for the fourteen elements (as usual, in alphabetical order of chemical symbols) from II to Nb, and the fact that, on the average, fifty pages are required for each element indicates to some extent the imperative need of the practising spectroscopist for such a collection as this. With this part are included also an index and an introductory note to the seventh volume.
