Abstract
IN 1905 appeared Mohn's discussion of the meteorological records obtained during Nan-sen's drift across the north polar basin on board the Fram during the three years October 1893–August 1896. No one who is interested in polar meteorology needs to be reminded of the outstanding value of that great work, which has been for thirty years the source of practically all we know about the atmosphere over the Arctic Ocean.
