Oscillations with Hollow Quartz Cylinders cut along the Optical Axis

Abstract

A. HUND and R. B. Wright1 have tried to set into oscillation a quartz cylinder cut along the optical axis, and succeeded only in resorting to circuits which are so regenerative that they are on the verge of self-oscillation.
