Abstract
THE channelled bands of rubidium and cæsium have already been studied by many authors, but the analyses of the vibrational states have not been completed. By close examination of the spectrograms which I have obtained with a plane grating and a quartz lens of three metres in focal length, I have found the vibrational structures of the bands and made an attempt to analyse them. In the case of rubidium, the frequencies of the heads of the bands may be represented as follows:
