Abstract
THIS fourth and concluding volume of the part of the “Handbuch der Experimental-physik” devoted to the subject of hydro- and aerodynamics fully maintains the high standard set by the three preceding volumes. It comprises three long articles dealing respectively with the flow in pipes, the flow in open channels and the measurement of viscosity, and it also contains a useful general index to the whole four volumes.
